Child Protection Policy
The club is aware it has a responsibility towards young people playing cricket. It expects senior members of the club to behave responsibility towards children.
Members may become aware that a child or young person is being, or is likely to be, subjected to abuse either physical or emotional. They may observe this personally or it may be reported to them.
Members should in every instance: -
Listen to what the child or young person is saying
Report what they know to the club chairman or nominated child welfare officer.

All children have the right to be safe and treated with respect, regardless of their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial origin, religious belief or sexual identity. You have a responsibility to ensure this right is upheld.
